Signals worth acting on

Two moves to consider this week.

01
Shipsy · talent signal
Shipsy hired Aman Gupta (ex-Razorpay) as VP of AI on May 12, and posted three AI/ML engineer roles within 48 hours.
What
A senior AI hire plus rapid downstream backfill is the strongest possible signal of a product direction shift. [source: linkedin.com/in/amangupta]
So what
Shipsy is 3–6 months from shipping an AI route-optimisation module. PingFleet's current "Smart ETA" feature is the closest competitive answer — but it is not packaged or marketed as AI.
Now what
By June 1: publish a public AI roadmap one-pager. By June 30: rename Smart ETA as "AI ETA" with a customer case study.
02
LogiNext · gtm signal
LogiNext removed the free-trial option from pricing on May 14. Pricing page is now "Contact sales" only.
What
Page diff confirmed: their ₹18K/mo Starter tier and 14-day free trial were both pulled. [source: loginextsolutions.com/pricing]
So what
They are abandoning self-serve SMB. Every prospect who bounced off their pricing page in the last 90 days is now unserved.
Now what
This week: run a LinkedIn outbound campaign targeting Ops Heads at D2C brands ≤200 employees who follow LogiNext. Window closes in ~30 days.
Watching closely

Not yet actionable, but on the radar.

01
LogiNext's Gulf hiring push. Eight sales hires across UAE and Saudi over three weeks. Irrelevant to PingFleet's India-only base for now.
→ Tips into action if any of your top-20 enterprise prospects open a Gulf office.
02
FarEye's Egypt acquisition (Naqel-Last-Mile, ~$12M). Their attention is fragmenting across MENA. India go-to-market will probably slow.
→ Tips into action if you start winning FarEye India deals at higher rates over the next 60 days.
Voice of the customer

What competitor customers are actually saying.

Shipsy support has been MIA for four days. We're on the Pro plan and can't get anyone to respond to our integration issue. This is the second time this quarter.

Just churned from LogiNext. The product is fine but their pricing went opaque overnight. We had a ₹18K plan in March, by May it didn't exist. No grandfathering, no migration help.

FarEye's Shopify integration broke for the third time this quarter. Lost two days of orders. We're actively shopping alternatives.
